Up for grabs is this amazing ENGL Sovereign 100 1 x 12 combo, including ENGL PRO 1 x 12 extension cabinet and bonus custom pro ENGL badged slip covers for both amp and cab, and speaker lead to connect amp and cab, all in 'as new' condition, perfect working order.
The Sovereign is the absolute top of the line combo made by ENGL, this is the new generation (not the old) version, which includes ability to achieve full midi control, or the standard footswitch option.
This amp gives you the power to store different amp setting combinations with full midi control, great if you are using an external effects processor. Imagine using your floor based unit effects unit, with REAL VALVE AMP power instead of those crummy simulated stand-alone distortions, it will transform your tone, and rock your world. The possibilities are endless. And the bonus is, you still have full access to all of your rack or floor effects, imagine combining real valve distortion with some nicely tweaked effects unit distortion or amp simulation.
The amp has every conceivable option available;
- 4 independant channels; clean / crunch / lead 1 / lead 2.
- 2 master volume channels (great for having independant channels for solos)
- 2 independant effects loops, each with their own dry/wet signal dial
- Midi inputs for all desired configurations, or standard footswitch inputs for standard styled channel switching
- Spring reverb (can be selected or deselected for use on all individual channels)
- High gain button (very high gain!), to select for individual channels if desired
- 2 separate EQs for channels 1/2, and 3/4
- Built in noise gate
- Direct input to desk options for recording or live mixing direct to desk
- Fan cooled with 2 fans, so amp runs beautifully cool all the time.
Basically this amp has everything.
ENGL amp connoisseurs will see that I have moved the ENGL badge on the front of the amp and cab, this is just to keep the microphones in front of the speakers happy. You can easily move it back to the original location if preferred, it can be moved anywhere on the metal grill.
